My parent was prescribed Tylenol PM for pain management. The parent is 82yrs old and diphenhydramine is a contraindication for geriatric patients let alone one with a dementia diagnosis. The parent experienced altered mental status as a result. I have encouraged my parent to seek a second opinion at a different practice.
This a metaphorical narcotic pez dispenser for geriatrics I was accused of selling 12 low grade vicodin and subsequently kicked-out of pain management without discussion. A FOREIGN Doctor w no bedside manner. This while, I earn a 6 fig income and was in so much pain that I couldn't function for months. Bureaucrats not Physicians. Just Run.
