I've been dealing with a liver or gallbladder issue for quite some time. I went through a period where I didn't eat for 5 days and I called premier to schedule an appointment for a follow-up for an ER visit I had about a car crash, but I told him the more pressing issue was the fact that I haven't eaten in 5 days or had a bowel movement. I’ve been a patient here for almost a year. Through trial and repeated error, giving Dr Honnegar and Premier Medical EXTENDED GRACE, I am on my way to a new provider. Every time I got a prescription from Dr Honnegar, it was never sent to the pharmacy. I had to call his office 3-5 times to finally get them to send it in. And on one I never got it because Dr Honnegar never filled out his part of paperwork for my insurance to do a pre authorization. Even my insurance called me twice asking why he hadn’t sent it over. I have been a patient of Dr Honegar for a few months now. I am very satisfied with him and his receptionist Sophia. They are caring and attentive and Dr. Honegar is very knowledgeable and helped me tremendously. The reason for 3 stars is the premier medical call center. Every time I call to try to get Dr Honegar office, I am disconnected, transferred to another person, or there is a language barrier or they are not paying attention and I am constantly repeating myself. Made an appointment for The Villages location as a new patient a few weeks ago. They said they accept my insurance.The appointment was made and went online to do the new paperwork.And I figured I would confirm the appointment via chat. I was told that the appointment was canceled because they only see patients that are currently patients there with a primary doctor.
