We had a wonderful experience with this lactation consultant group. They were very quick to respond and get us an appointment with Laura Musser, who was incredible — so empathetic, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive. The intake visit was a full two hours in our home, which made such a difference. We never felt rushed and felt completely comfortable asking questions and working through challenges at our own pace. I would not be where I’m at now in my breastfeeding journey without Premier Lactation. From the speed of which I was connected to an IBCLC after the first call to having the accessibility of services in my home to seeing progress in both myself and little one. I had the absolute best experience with Laura Musser! My daughter and I were sent home from the hospital and when we got home my daughter latch wasn't great and I didn't know what to do. I knew I still wanted her to get breast milk, so I turned to pumping and bottle feeding. That made my heart sad because I always envisioned breastfeeding my baby. Editing my review a year later: I achieved my goal of breastfeeding for one year thanks to Laura M!! I will be forever grateful for her! 🙏🏼🫶🏼 Laura M. was my lactation consultant and I can’t say enough positive things about my experience working with her! I cannot speak highly enough of Barbara. She is so patient, flexible, knowledgeable, and just incredibly sweet during one of the most vulnerable times of my life! She came to our house (on a Sunday because I was in a panic about my son having lost some weight initially) and taught me how to properly breastfeed, gave simple exercises for a tongue/lip tie, and followed up to see how we were progressing in the coming weeks. Absolutely priceless!! He is now growing/thriving and I attribute much of this to her!
