I was recommended this mechanic and thought that I had a trusted person working on my car. Turns out they were the opposite. Not only are they terrible with communication, but they are also liars. I was told the part that I needed for my car was on internal backorder. I did my own research and I reached out to 3 dealerships and also went to a new mechanic and turns out the part that I needed is IN STOCK. So why lie? I received a reference to Felix, the owner of Premier Imports of Charlotte from a coworker, who is also a black female mechanic. I gave Felix the diagnostic from the dealership and Felix took time to explain what needed to be done as well as the potential cost. He explained to me the additional fee if you make a payment over the phone. He was very intentional and clear with the information given. It took one day to fix the car. I was very pleased with the service.

Please Please and I do mean Please DO Not send your car to this auto shop. Paid for my car to be fixed, a month and a half later I hadn't heard from them. Went to the shop and was told they were still waiting on the part and that it was on back log. A whole month and a half and not 1 person called or communicated anything of the such with me. Called for an estimate on engine replacement. I got hung up on 3x, requested to speak with a manager who said he would call me back same day with a quote. Never heard back. Already starting off on the wrong foot for a very expensive job. No thank you.
