I ordered 2 doors in May 2024. Installed in July. That part went smoothly. However, no one left any paperwork. All I have is a loan installment agreement. I was told from the start that I could claim the Tax Energy Credit. When I looked it up, the product has to have the Blue Star energy symbol. I don't see it. They had someone show up yesterday to offer to do an analysis. Set the appointment for today and they no called no showed.
I hired PHS for a shower installation. The original install date was on the 3rd of Feb, but was delayed due to them ordering the wrong size of shower. The mixup was only communicated to me after I contacted them later on the day they were supposed to come out and install. The next install date was on the 17th of Feb, and was supposed to take 1-2 days to complete. The worker had to order a drain which halted progress until the part arrived, which was supposedly 3 days. Single women beware!!! I scheduled an estimate and had several email conversations about the details of the project to factor into receiving a quote. Received an email confirming the appointment then another canceling the same appointment for a quote as I would be attending the appointment solo as the only owner. Apparently as a single female I'm not qualified to make my own decisions!!! Thank you God for shielding me from this potential bigoted disaster! Welcome to 2025 ... SMH!
I just had PHS insulate my basement walls. Allen was the salesman that gave me the estimate. He was very knowledgable, friendly and respectful of my home. The two young men who installed the foam insulation, were timely, polite, respectful and did a great job. I will definitely use their services for my other projects. I highly recommend them.
