Beware!! Worked on our electrics on behalf of British Gas to install a boiler with no issues raised. As they had seen and worked on our older house without issue we asked for a price to replace the consumer unit told not an issue, they arrived on the day were in the property 10 minutes and anounced the job could not be completed due to age of wiring so we asked them to requote for a rewire they counted the fittings etc and left after about an hour.
