The English review follows the Chinese review. 我们已要求医疗过失责任保险理赔申请（Professional Liability / Malpractice Insurance Claim），并准备向 Virginia Board of Dentistry 提交投诉，目前等待相关机构审查和评估。整个过程非常麻烦，但我们只能通过正式渠道继续处理。 我妻子今年6月在这里拔智齿。在部分牙齿已经被处理后才拍了X光，最后仍有牙根残留。之后她牙龈出血约一周，牙齿/伤口疼痛持续数周，并在牙医及 urgent care 的治疗下，数周内使用了止痛药和抗生素。 治疗当天，我妻子已经明确告诉牙医和助理她有咳嗽，但拔牙仍然继续。之后她的咳嗽和呼吸道症状明显加重。我们不能确定这些症状是否与此次牙科治疗有关，这一点需要由合格的医疗专家评估。 最后，我们不得不预约 oral surgeon，由口腔外科医生再次处理并拔除残留牙根，又经历了一次困难的恢复过程，并再次使用止痛药和抗生素。 我们最难理解的是：诊所有以前的X光片，为什么没有在拔智齿之前取得更新的影像，而是在拔除遇到困难之后才拍X光？既然患者当天已经报告咳嗽，为什么没有考... read more

I am extremely upset and disappointed with how my wisdom tooth extraction was handled. Before the procedure, I clearly told the dentist and assistant that I had a cough, but the dentist said it was fine to proceed. Afterward, my cough became severe and lasted about two weeks. For 10 days, I could barely sleep because lying down caused severe coughing, and I had to repeatedly sit up for relief. I saw doctors several times, including two visits to urgent care in two weeks.
