I gave birth here last year and loved the experience. I very much wanted a water birth this time around, as my first was born in a hospital. I don't plan to give birth again, but if I did have to give birth in a facility, I would have it here. Since there aren't a lot of options for water birth in the NOVA area outside of doing one at home, I'm so glad this turned out well. My insurance did not cover the costs, but it was well worth it. I HIGHLY recommend Premier to ALL my friends and family (and strangers)!! I've had 3 babies with their help. One that I had to do a non-emergency transfer and Mayanne was with me the whole time even in the hospital as a support person. They have taken great care of me and my babies! I also bring all four of my kids to see Betsy Novotny for well and sick visits and I cannot recommend her more! She's like a part of our family. You are amazing! I love how you make me feel supported and encouraged to make decisions about my labor process. Every staff member here is kind and friendly, it has been such a positive experience. I recommend Premier Birth Center to family and friends.
My wife has had 2 children with Premier. Midwives and nurses are great, my wife even traveled 4 hours for the second child to use them. However billing and upper management is aweful. We will not be using them again, and will not be using or recommending them again. We had a lot of trouble getting social security cards with both children, and billing was inaccurate and a complete disaster both times.
