Premera is literally the worst insurance to work with! You have to do everything though Availity, making it so no one will answer your questions. Unless you are dying, they will not make your authorization a priority. People!!!! If you have this insurance, IF you value your life! DO NOT get this insurance!!!!!! Protest your employers for using this insurance!!!! You would have better luck being a self-pay.
Just spent half an hour with customer service only to find out that they are unable to tell how much they're going to cover of a procedure (MRI) that they've previously preapproved with an in-network provider. The guy on the phone was nice and was trying to help but the whole system is absolutely ridiculous..
