Prein and Newhof are the project managers for the water pipe replacement project in the city and the township. Before they did anything, my easement was level, had grass, and didn't collect water runoff from the street. After they have completed their work, my easement now has turned into a makeshift collection reservoir any time it rains due to the improper grading and paving they did in front of my house. Signed a contract in July 2023, we were rezoned to a flood zone. Flood Insurance is crazy expensive! Had them out to survey it, hoping for a LOMA cert or even just a better rate since we would have actual numbers. I understood that they were busy and it'd be a few weeks before they could come out.
