I have been completely let down by Preferred Prosthetic. I came in on a Monday for my niece and was told her piece would be in in a couple days. I called them the following Thursday and was told it should be in by no later then Friday. I give them a call today, Friday, to find they are closed for the weekend. A nine year oldest ability to walk is tied in to this and I could have went elsewhere had they not lied to me about the time it would take. I am waiting on a refund for my deposit.
MARCH 7 2013 I have had the pleasure of the treatment and care from Steve Vera, CP for nearly ten years. He is highly skilled & willing to 'go outside the box' to satisfy the need of the patients comfort.. I had my leg amputated in 1970 just below the knee. The stump is a difficult fit due to the contours and the nerves are so close to the surface they require a very precise contour fit of the final socket.
