Dr Shanker missed my daughter's ADD diagnosis. He said she did not have ADD and that she only needed to work on academics. I knew that he was wrong, I went to see another doctor and she said OF COURSE THIS IS ADD. I lost two months of time... In addition to this...he is VERY rude.
Dr. Hettinger is a very passionate and kind physician who goes the extra mile for her patients. My son has a suspected genetic condition and she pushed for appointments and testing behind the scenes and she even called to check on him. She calmed my fears when I cried to her out of worry and she is great with both my kids. She’s also a mom and you can tell. Excellent physician and person.
