Preferred Paving hires incompetent drivers. I was cut off while going 70 mph on I-15 since the driver of a silver truck decided it was too difficult to slow down, since it’s not his job to yield to traffic. With drivers like that, I can only imagine how horrible their work must be, I’m sure they don’t even properly compact their road base. I would avoid this company at all costs.

I needed our driveway crack sealed and seal coated. This is the first time I have dealt with Preferred Paving. My wife was a bit worried about all the rock we had up to the edge of our long driveway on both sides but much to my surprise the crew took the extra effort to pull them all back so they would not be hit with the seal coat. They used a motorized wire brush to clean off any loose material and did the crack seal twice before the seal coat which was done twice as well. They are currently doing work in my neighborhood in American Fork. I would have PREFERRED that I didn't have to come home and pick up the trash they leave around my yard and neighborhood (big gulp cups, used water bottles, etc.) I would have PREFERRED that I didn't have to call my insurance about how they hit my car with a backhoe. I would have PREFERRED that I didn't have to worry about the tar, asphalt, etc. mess that they are leaving behind.
