I've been with Preferred since 2017 and generally had a good experience until my broker changed. For the past few years my tenant insurance has doubled with no claims, this year my car insurance has gone up by more than $120 with no claims and no other drivers on my vehicle. Trying to get help to understand what's going on has been a nightmare. And I totally love (not) the surprise double payments that come at renewal time out even though the paperwork doesn't show them. Extremely disappointed with this brokerage. They made unauthorized and unnoticed price changes to my policy more than once during the term, without proper communication or consent. Reaching them is always a challenge—responses are slow, vague, and unhelpful. When I raised concerns about these issues, I was met with a dismissive attitude rather than any accountability or willingness to fix the situation.
