DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! There’s a reason why they’re ratings so bad. Unless you want to waste your money and continuously pay for no results. I even had a service agreement. Waste of complete money! After I’ve spent a few thousand dollar for calls I’ll now have to hire another company.
Preferred Air is doing their best to rip me off. I told them I needed a condenser fan for my AC. The guy shows up and says he can install a rescue fan for my 10 year old unit for $679. I said, "let's do it." Then he gets on the phone to run it by his boss who tells him no, he has to put in an OEM motor for $770 plus $130 for the visit totaling $900. No way! The unit's almost 10 years old and I can almost replace the whole thing for that. I tell them I'm not doing business with them and they still want a $130 for a 5 minute v... read more

Beware !!! We have had bi annual service for almost 5 years we have all the lights air scrubbers etc that preferred recommended and installed . This is immediately after a said cleaning and only after I demanded to see inside my a frame unit and the all units did we realize we were being lied to . My health has declined and now we know why
This company has been my a/c service provider for almost six years. I am disappointed to report they tried to sell me a new air conditioning system when all I needed was a repair. Feeling very let down by Steve at Preferred Heating and Air Conditioning. Steve made two very long service calls. At the end of the first service call, he said I needed a new Contactor which would take several days to arrive. The estimated cost of this part was $500+.
