Stay AWAY! Precision tune auto care is an extremely dishonest company. Do not come here unless you are okay with people blatantly lying to your face. I visited this company for an oil change and to diagnose a squeaking noise coming from under my hood. After several hours they said that my alternator was bad and it needed to be replaced. DO NOT GO HERE-THEY DON'T HAVE EQUIPMENT OR SKILLS TO DIAGNOSE YOUR VEHICLE-CHEAP OWNER, HACK SHOP!! Took a 92 Buick Lesabre here to have them diagnose the vehicle since I didn't have time and was leaving town the next day and a friend was going to be driving this for a few months while I was out of the cities. DO NOT GO HERE If the rating stars were piles of poop, I would rate this 5 piles of poop, but they're not so I give this the lowest rating possible. I went in here to have my tire plugged, a seemingly simple task. They guy working the front desk, Dummy Davis, comes out to ask me if I'm sure that's the correct tire because they can't find any thing. DONT GET SCREWED DONT take your vehicle here unless you want to get screwed. This place is a joke and will tell you that you need all kinds of work done, and not only that they will charge you for work that they dont even do!!! I was told that I needed struts, and shocks, and a swinging arm. Once I left I took my vehicle to two different places and both places told me that I did not need any of the work done and that everything underneath the car was tight. Excellent Service Had some work done and these folks were fast and thorough! Price wise they are probably on the average side but with the service it certainly set them apart. The guy at the front counter (Jeff I believe) was excellent to work with and kept me up to date on what was going on with my vehicle! Thanks a million you have earned a repeat customer.
Un-needed and undone repairs If I could do zero starts I would have. I took my car in for oil change and alignment. They changed the oil but didn't do the usual lube with it. The owner told me he couldn't complete an alignment because I had a bad tie rod, he gave me an estimate of $267 to repair it. I decided to take it to my regular mechanic who told me that they didn't do the lube and couldn't find a bad tie rod. Watch yourself- the owner professed how honest he was when he showed me the estimate.
Great place Beautiful shop, waiting area ,childrens area with brown leather childrens chairs and PS3 with movies, Donutes, coffee. Beautiful go check it out. Crew is very friendly, experienced and helpful. You will truely enjoy there specialties.
Don't go there. Went there to get my inspection sticker. I was told my treads were low on two of my tires. I went to Big D down the road to buy new tires and when he checked them he said I didn't need them.....they were at a 4....not even close to being a 2 (which evidently is the "magic number" that tells you when you need to purchase new tires). I went back to Precision Tune the next day. They said didn't have time to look at my tires. I waited a week and came back again. They looked at my tires and said they looked great.... read more
