I would advise anyone looking for a mechanic that cares to be detailed with actually fixing an automobile, to look elsewhere. My father brought in his 2013 Jeep Patriot for a tune up as it was running rough at idle. For 80 dollars worth of spark plugs, coils, and boot covers; he was charged over 400 dollars. Granted they charged 80 dollars for a fuel cleaning agent (Seafoam is around 10 dollars and does the same thing if not better), and another 60 dollars for an induction cleaning. I don't know about the bad reviews at other locations, but the manager at the Cedar Park location, Omar, was friendly, courteous, and efficient. I came in for an oil change. He reminded me to not wait too long between oil changes this summer with the hot Texas heat. I will come back again.

I don't live out here, but I had a tire go flat about one mile east of the P.Tune Auto Care in Burnsville, Mn I went into them, and told Matt about my problem, and I had no way to get a lug nut off. He followed me back and tried to get it but could not. He went back got some equipment and another man, and came down, got the lug nut off and change to the spare. Took my Subaru in to have a technician trouble shoot a low tire pressure light. They found two screws in a tire, removed the road debris, and repaired the tire damage. I also had the wheels aligned and tires rotated. All the work was performed in a professional and timely manner, and at a price which was competitive with other automobile repair businesses in the area. I highly recommend the University Place Precision Tune for your automobile maintenance needs.

Took my husbands car in to get oil changed and brakes checked. Was called back about 2 hours later saying the front brakes and rotors need to be replaced. They would not break the cost down just kept dancing around my questions on the cost, because noting was adding up. Felt like I was being talked down too. So I told them I did not appreciate the tone they were taking when I was asking about price. Nothing but praise for the new management team of Greg and Julian. These two are very customer focused, had my son's Honda in with a no start electrical issue and these guys took care of it, they kept us informed and completed the repairs by the end of the day. They were very busy with one bay down because of new equipment being installed. What really impressed me was after my son picked up his car, I questioned something on his bill so I went back and had a talk with Julian.
