I want to personally thank Precision Transmission & Auto Care for bailing me out of a real jam. I am from Connecticut and was traveling home from upstate Maine when my car broke down on I-95 near Wells late on a Thursday evening. The AAA tow driver recommended Precision Transmission for emergency repairs. I was not disappointed. Dave, the owner, really stepped up and had my car back on the road by the following afternoon, working past his normal business hours to accomplish this. I have to counter the negative review. I just had a rear differential replaced by these guys and they were nothng but professional. In fact, they installed a used differential but it didn't sound right to them, so they removed it, had their supplier replace it and reinstalled another used one -- for no added cost (which is the way it should have been but it was not even questioned). They were good to a first timer!
Do not bring your vehicle here for repair. The owner is very rude and will lie compulsively. His workers are only precise when eating their lunch. The owner will also over charge for above said services. I had to return three times for a bolt to be fixed that the mechanic knew he stripped to begin with, now that's messed up.
