Dr. Michael Downey performed my bunion surgery and the results have been life changing. Changing my five-star review to a one-star review. While my initial experiences with this practice were positive, things quickly went downhill with the the new front-end staff. The lack of professionalism and communication has led me to find a new provider. Before my initial visit, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Downey without a referral and was later able to get a referral a week before the appointment and was seen without an issue. Where do I start. My husband had a botched ankle replacement by another prominent foot/ankle surgeon in Southlake a year ago and then another surgery in February by the same doctor to add more screws. He never recovered satisfactorily and was in constant pain! That's when we decided to switch doctors and found Dr. Downey and Precision Orthopedics. My husband's life changed after that!!
