Brett misspelled my first name (6 letters!) on the report, and when I emailed him to correct it, no response! This is an extreme example of ignorance- how come he cannot fix it within 2 days, regardless need to be more responsible for what he does (to a customer), unless he just wants the $$$. I am very disappointed, and I am now dealing with a fraudulent credit report as he used my incorrect name with my Social Security. Brett is the worst home inspection guy, he also changed the pricing at the last moment, also very rude by personality, huge no this business
I bought a house in September 2024 and the inspector missed several things specifically plumbing problems that cost me thousands of dollars.
We bought a home in 2021 and inspector missed several things that cost us thousands. I wouldn’t use this inspector again. Do your own research and hire your own inspector that cares.
I am a first time home buyer and Brett Porter was the man who did my inspection on the house I am currently under contract for. The house is over 100 years old and I can say for certain that Brett absolutely made sure he thoroughly checked everything, even going as far as to climb in the attic despite the entrance being incredibly small.
