I found Dr Sarath Attanayake has been caring and very thorough in his investigations . He gathered a lot of information from myself and partner and even mother to ensure he had a deep understanding of background. He has extensive knowledge and has made me feel valued and understood. He was also a very nice man and made me feel welcome and supported.

I was quite disappointed in the quality of my experience with Dr. Varuni De Silva. I got a diagnosis and a prescription, now handled by my GP - but outside being a drug dispenser, I didn't feel like I was equipped at all to understand or manage my diagnosis. It was hard to get or reschedule appointments (months in between). If you just want a diagnosis and drugs, sure, but beyond that I didn't find it helpful. Given the shortage of psychiatrists, am sure this won't affect anything though...

I had booked an appointment to see dr Sarath attanyake and was kind enough to help me out asap . He was very professional and asked very specific questions, gathered up alot of information with the combination of me also being extremely open and honest helpud us get a better understanding on what to do next to move forward Kind regards :)

5 STARS FOR DR VERUNI. Excellent Dr, listens and really understands ADHD. 1 * For the RECEPTION STAFF - Many issues, once didn't charge me properly, then called me back to do the payment at a separate time. Each time i call to make an appointment, I get a recorded message, which is long winded, i then wait for it to time out call again. Today i called 3 times each time it hung up, when the receptionist finally answered I was put on hold. Then I tried to explain my issue, saying she told me she would call back last week. Dr Sarath decided that a 3 minute phone call (due to his late attendance) with patient's partner was sufficient to support a clinical diagnosis and refused to engage in follow-up. Diagnosis went against previous guidance and advice of several other psych specialists and charged nearly $700 on the way out the door - do not recommend anyone engage with his services.
