I visited this office for help with an emerging cataract problem. Almost immediately it became clear that its a surgery mill. I was encouraged to implement an expensive IOL with almost no discussion about the particulars of my case. On returning home, I learnt about all the choices in cataract surgery from the internet - lense types, recovery time etc - these issues should have been discussed with me during the consult. Needless to say, I didn’t go forward with the surgery
Although the physical assistants are kind and helpful, Dr. Steinberg himself was vague with his diagnosis and hurried in the appointment. Also, the reason why I am writing this review is they prescription they gave my son was a brand name that was very expensive, the PA told me if my insurance doesn't cover it to just call them back and they would give me 'something else' and alluded to it being two eye drops instead of one. I had gone to an ophthalmologist who told me I have cataracts, but I could wait until the summertime to get it done. He gave me a prescription which three times he had to change it because I could not see out of them at all so then I went back to Walmart Vision center and had my eyes re-examined and the doctor there she was wonderful Gave me a referral to Dr. Steinberg‘s office I called them. Dr Dave & team performed cataract surgery recently and the experience was fantastic. His professional, kind and caring manner carries over to his team from the moment I walked in door. I truly felt like a member of his family. Additionally, Dr Dave’s follow-up was above and beyond what I have previously experienced from any medical procedures with other eye doctors. I highly highly recommend Precision Vision & Dr Dave !!
I flew up from Florida for my Cataract surgery and was treated with the best care and professionalism! I highly recommend Dr Steinberg and his amazing staff. The results were outstanding
