I have a PRco Power Service Contract and I have heard so many bad thing and I am starting to get afraid. I recently ran into an issues with our car and the first thing I did was call my tech to ask if he had worked or works with PRco. He said he did and he was very helpful and told me not to worry. I also called my car insurance agent and gave them a copy of my PRco contract for review ( they have team of lawyers they work with and I asked if they could give me a helping hand to understand the ins and outs.) I have yet to ca... read more

If I was not forced to leave a star I would not because they do not deserve to have any stars. My family bought a car from a dealership and PRco was the warranty company and the *** insurance company. They hardly covered anything when it came to the repairs on the car when it came to issues unless it was something small. Now when it comes to the *** insurance they are a joke and try to find any way out of helping to cover the *** claim. We have been fighting with them for over two months and they are not listening to our car... read more

The reason behind BBBs choice to include reviews such as yours on their site remains a mystery to us. We cannot find out your identity, as you have neglected to identify yourself properly. In addition, you failed to specify the nature of your complaint, so who knows if you are an actual customer?Considering our notable ******* history in the industry, it is essential for us to review the specific details of your complaint. We urge you to stop hiding behind social media and one-star reviews and instead reveal your identity. T... read more

As a repair facility you'd be better off not doing business with this company as they will allow you to complete repair work and then force you to warranty non-warranty-able parts with threat of non-payment if you do not provide a warranty for parts that are non-warrantyable

Business response:

*****, in our 34 years of operation, the only repair we did with you was in March 2023. We told you about the warranty requirements before starting the repair and you agreed. You performed the repair, and we paid the amount you asked for. Because of the vulgar language handwritten by you on *********** order, we told you that this would be the first and last time we'd work together.?Facts hold great importance. We cannot show the repair order you submitted because of ?the ?f?oul language. BBB readers would gain a completely ... read more

AS A Repair Facility Trying To Do Business With This Company, I Rate Them As Garbage. Moving Forward, I Will Have Customers Pay For Repairs And The Customer Can Deal With ********************** ********. They Do NOT *************** Customer **********************! Too Many Hoops To Jump Through When Trying To Collect Payment. Takes Longer To Get Paid Than It Does To Repair The Vehicle

so I purchased this warranty with the understanding that if my truck was to brakedown the warranty would take effect and my repaires would be covered .I've taken it to the dealership and they state id still have to pay almost 700.00 dollars for parts and labor that is not covered .they refer to mitchel guid for labor and cost . The dealership does not go by mitchell guid. They go by dealership cost and labor .this company refused to cover all parts that need replace or the labor to remove broken components to make repaires .... read more

You emailed on October 29, 2019, regarding an exhaust leak, and we advised you of our claim procedures. Since we did not hear from you over the course of the following month, we sent two follow-up reminders. You emailed on May 5, 2020 and June 22, 2020 regarding the exhaust leak, and each time we advised you of our claim procedures. On June 22, 2020, you emailed an estimate from ****** ****. Within 30 minutes, we authorized the requested amount from ******for the exhaust manifolds and gaskets for $369.40 and diagnosis of $70... read more

A customer insured by PRCo towed his disassembled vehicle to the shop for an engine replacement (dealership performed the diagnostic and teardown) on 09/26/19. The estimate took about a week and a half to be approved, which caused the vendor to sell the engine in the original quote. Luckily, I found a cheaper remanufactured engine to replace. Overall, the total exceeded the amount approved, which still allowed the customer to provide payment for the spark plugs (PRCo does not cover spark plugs) and a bit more. Once PRCo rece... read more

Business response:

According to our records, the customer notified us on 9/30/19 that the vehicle was at your repair facility. As you know, we went back and forth regarding your BAR license & corporate name change. We resolved those issues on 10/4/19, and we authorized for the repair that day. We paid you for all covered components, and the biggest portion of the $350 we did not pay was a 3% customer service charge. Regarding payment, when you submitted your estimate on 10/1/19, you received an automated response showing our guidelines and it ... read more

I previously owned a 2005 Audi S4 that I purchased used and decided to include the PRco extended service contract. When I had issues with the car I took it to my local Audi dealership to have them resolve. In the 4 years I owned the car I had a number of issues, but PRco and their staff were always there to help, and I can't remember a single claim ever being denied. My car was fairly stock (minus some wheels and a K&N filter) so there was no reason to deny anything. I properly maintained my car and followed all dealer sugge... read more
