Do not go to this doctor if you have dystonia and/or are a woman. Mind you, I’ve already been diagnosed and been receiving treatment for cervical dystonia , I saw him because I’m trying to find a doctor closer to me. First thing he said was “what are you doing here” when we had already had a telehealth visit and he asked me to come in person to see my shoulder. Dr Khemani is one of the only doctors in two decades who has actually listened and taken my concerns about my condition seriously. That alone is priceless. I had mostly given up hope on doctors altogether and had braced myself for disappointment. Even if my treatment does not work out, I am happy that at least someone took me seriously and tried to help me.
Dr Khemani has listened to my needs and is very supportive and helpful towards me. He understood me as a person and as a patient. He assisted me in my cause and recovery with my movement disorder, Parkinsonism. He has helped me with my pain when I was hit on my head at work causing my movement disorder to become worse. He helped immensely with my recovery from that injury. He listened and knew how to assist me with my recovery. I am grateful for his kindness, knowledge and support.
Very disappointed with the level of care. I was referred from another neurologist after being hospitalized with very scary symptoms that exhibited signs of a movement disorder. Verbatim Dr.Khemani stated "if you would have read my bio, you would have realized you wasted your time by coming here!" I drove 3 hours and waited 4 1/2 months. Very thankful I was cleared of having such a condition, but if he would have read more into my chart he would have realized I have a progressive condition that's affecting all quality of life... read more
