A friend of mine was recently discharged from the hospital. He stayed in the hospital at least three nights. He was asked early in the morning if he would like a bath. He said he would. Six or seven hours later, when he was finally discharged, no one had ever come back to provide that bath. Perhaps this is standard operating procedure these days, but some hospital patients could really use assistance with a bath before they are discharged home in a possibly weakened condition.
