Dr. Mehta was my doctor when I was admitted to Greenville Memorial in April 2022, following sudden cardiac arrest. The care he provided helped prevent brain and heart damage, and he was a great comfort to my wife, who was understandably distraught. He's an excellent doctor and a great person, and I'll be forever grateful to him for what he did for me.
This doctor’s approach and bedside manner left MUCH to be desired. First he walked into my room, neither confirmed who I am or introduced himself. He then proceeded to TOUCH MY FACE with UNWASHED, UNGLOVED hands. I not once saw him wash his hands or use sanitizer before or after touching me on and around my face. He did the most half a** listen to my lungs, says “they sound clear and unobstructed” but then orders a chest X-ray, despite the fact that I had reported no respiratory difficulties.
