She knows her stuff! Very matter of fact, not much joking around, but also very competent.
I was referred to Dr. Prasanthi per my OBGYN. When I called to schedule an apt I was informed it would cost me $75 to make an appoint. I was informed it would go towards my co-pay, which I don't have based on my Insurance covered. I informed the scheduler that I've met both my deductible and out of pocket for the year. I was told I would still need to pay $75 to make an appoint. No thanks. I'll find a different doctor.
Started seeing her in 2020 after many years of thyroid issues uncontrolled by my PCP. Office is so disorganized- several times went to get labs done and no orders were sent in- last straw - She ignored my multiple attempts to get thyroid medicine refilled- I went without for 2 weeks before seeing the new endocrinologist. She never did anything except televisit- take my money and same TSH lab work over and over again
Disorganized. Terrible communication and listening skills resulted in an overdose that made me terribly ill.
I should've listened to the reviews, but I was given 2 options for referrals and hers was the better of the 2 which isn't saying much. Clearly, this is just a paycheck to her. She has 0 interest in her patients. The first visit with her, she had an intern with her and I really hope that intern didn't pick up on her less than enthused attitude towards me.
