Tomy back in the 70s, Prana Medical Centre has always been an integral part of Transcona community serving generations for more than 40 years. Prana is a family medical center with a walk-in service as well. Prana Pharmacy is also present on-site. Under the new management, the clinic has been recently renovated. Dr. Edi is an excellent physician. I have had the blessing of having her as my doctor for at least 4 years, and she is attentive, kind and totally dedicated to her patients. Her thoroughness and wisdom is deeply appreciated. Plus, the new receptionists are friendly and helpful. This was not always the case with some of the office staff going back a year or two, but the clinic has rectified that concern. Very happy with the care I receive here.
Today was my first time visiting for a walk in clinic appointment (I usually only go to pick up my regular prescriptions from pharmacist at prana clinic) and was pleasantly surprised with how quick I got in as well as the professionalism from Dr Shariati. Dr Shariati asked questions, actively listened, and was not judgemental about my questions at all. Highly recommend!
I called in advance too prana, no one picked up the phone but the voicemail had said the walk in is open too 7 pm. I walked 3 km from my house with a throat infection and got there exactly at 5 pm. I stood at the desk and was waved off by the walk in doctor himself (Dr. Shariati i believe his name is) and the receptionist. I waited and the receptionist came back, i explained that i needed a check up but noticed it says the walk in was closed even though it very clearly says it was opened till 7 on the voicemail. Da mogu ostavila bih nula zvezdica. Na sajtu piše da od 5-7 primaju pacijente, i zbog toga smo došli kod njih, jer nam je bilo hitno a nije bilo potrebe za bolnicom.Čak je i u pitanju dete tj. tinejdžer al sve jedno, noga mu je bila povređena i trebalo mu je samo neka krema ili tako nesto za ranu koja je počela da se inficira. Ne bi ih preporučila nikome jer su totalno neprofesionalni i ne ljubazni( ustvari ljubazni sa onim lažnim: "Žao nam je"). Tako da stvarno ih zaobilazite, jer deluju ko prevara.
