Most disorganized medical establishment I ever encountered. Multiple calls to schedule. Started at wrong program then rescheduled. Everyone on the phone was confused. People working at Prairie care are very nice and caring
I did not have a positive experience with the adult IOP. I was struggling with my mental health and my life circumstances were greatly contributing. I did not find group therapy helpful. I especially did not find the psych ed helpful. Watching videos and making bath salts I could do at home. This place is genuinely the stuff of nightmares. I went about twelve years ago, when I was a teen- where do I even start? They called my anxiety issues "attention seeking" after locking me in seclusion for six hours simply for having ill fitting clothing and lying to my family about it. Nurses and the psychiatrist had a blast talking about how heavy I was due to my abusive mother drugging me on antipsychotics, which funnily enough I was found not to need by three separate psychiatrists as soon as I turned 18.
