First off the girls at the front counter are great. I started bringing my dog to this vet because my boyfriend does and now neither of us will be returning. I have been wanting to get my dog spayed so we did the routine blood work and something came back elevated so we did a urine test on Sept 26th. I’m a dog groomer and have been recommending this vet to all my clients for years for their dental cleanings, because they are the most affordable in the city. I was here yesterday with my own dog and was so happy with Dr. Mann. He was very thorough, took the time to explain diagnosis and treatment options, and was so gentle with my nervous injured corgi. Vets are very helpful and reasonable with their health issue assessments
AVOID THIS VET! Took my dog in for a tooth extraction. THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB REQUIRING ANOTHER SURGERY AT A DENTAL SPECIALIST TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES. They stitched him up under tension inevitably causing the wound to open. There is now a gaping hole and EXPOSED BONE. Now I need to pay an additional $2,500 to fix it. That’s not all. Before the surgery here we agreed on the $800 capped price but when we got the call to pick up the dog they said it would cost $1,500 despite the fact that the legal consent documents stated $800... read more
Our fur baby (Tucker) was in need of a tooth extraction. We were given an enormous quote from our Vet. We found out through word of mouth that Prairie Winds Animal Clinic was very good and reasonably priced. We took Tucker there and received excellent care and medical advice. The doctors and staff were EXCELLENT. I'd highly recommend this Clinic to anyone needing good medical care for their beloved fur family members.
