I have been seeing Dr. Dawda now for a few years and he is amazing. He has pulled me out of a very dark place, and helps with maintaining my mental health. I don't know where I would be without being able to see him. He is very good using a person centered approach and is very sincere, understanding and kind. I would recommend him to anyone needing help with mental health and trauma.
This review is for the intake experience. I submitted a consult inquiry on Psychology Today explaining why I am seeing psychotherapy. I received a call from their admin (Sara/Sarah) on Monday and she was mostly concerned about my insurance benefits and if I could pay the $230 fee once my benefits were consumed. I was put off by this approach and also her asking me why I am seeking therapy when I had already submitted my reasoning on Psychology Today.
