*Update, 2024* Been with this company for almost 8 years now and have been hired on as a journeyman with Prairie for about two years. Good upper management to deal with, knowledgeable guys that are always willing to teach and give opportunities to learn new things, never a problem with arranging vacation time or time off, always payed on time and always had work to come back to after a school intake.
Scabby as hell. Weren't paying overtime. Wouldn't let me apprentice. We're improperly doing pressure tests. "Laid me off" as soon as I was done welding for them. I would be checking all their work in the east edmonton urgent care clinic because they were not following the rules back then.
