We’ve worked alongside this home building company doing some pressure washing for their projects, and they’ve been awesome to work with. They’re the kind of people who do what they say they’re going to do — which goes a long way these days. They’re reliable, easy to communicate with, and super accommodating when it comes to scheduling and details. You can tell they genuinely care about their work and the people they work with. Nothing but good things to say about them. If you’re building a home, you’ll be in good hands.
**UPDATE 9.24.24 BUYER BEWARE. Well, here we are. 5 months later. I am writing a new review to hopefully help illustrate who you may be working with when you purchase these homes. I encourage you to read my other review to hopefully help you avoid the issues I have had with this company. **Update: Warranty items still not complete after 3 months. Started one. Never finished. Mold behind the door trim from a leaking door but they just covered back up with another piece. Vinton Homes. Not a Prairie Homes job, but all the same owners and trades one would assume that this rings true across all work. Poorly built, extremely poor workmanship, no accountability or action when warranty items need fixed, poor communication, and the list goes on. If you’re looking to buy or build with them, DON’T. Look elsewhere. Owner and co-owner won’t bother to reach out to you if there’s a problem once they sell the home. They communicate through their warranty coordinator instead of taking ownership.
