Prairie Homes made our dream of owning a beautiful home a reality! The team was incredibly professional and attentive to our needs from the beginning to the end of the process. The quality of craftsmanship is evident in every corner of our home. We highly recommend Prairie Homes to anyone looking to build or buy a home in Omaha!
**Update: Warranty items still not complete after 3 months. Started one. Never finished. Mold behind the door trim from a leaking door but they just covered back up with another piece. Door still leaks. Reached out to them early July, just heard back from last Friday the 26th via email. Not addressing or answering questions from previous emails. Vinton Homes. Vinton Homes. Not a Prairie Homes job, but all the same owners and trades one would assume that this rings true across all work. Poorly built, extremely poor workmanship, no accountability or action when warranty items need fixed, poor communication, and the list goes on. If you’re looking to buy or build with them, DON’T. Look elsewhere. Owner and co-owner won’t bother to reach out to you if there’s a problem once they sell the home. They communicate through their warranty coordinator instead of taking ownership. A custom home that isn't custom. Cons: We love our floor plan. However, despite Prairie Homes advertising "Anyone can build a structure. The art is making it special and unique for our clients," our reality was that we were confined by extremely limited selections offered by their designated vendors. Prairie Homes' team members were not on the same page with each other or with us.
