Charged 150$ for a contact lens fitting. Optometry is always a scam but this feels steep. Gave me the same prescription from ten years ago but without accommodating the difference in each eye or my astigmatism. (I prefer having accurate prescriptions but this was dismissed) Despite no change in prescription for 10 years, the Dr insists I need to come back every year and follow ups must be within a few weeks. Everyone is friendly and I didn't have to sit long either. Dr Large was very nice and answered all my questions. They direct bill which is greatly appreciated.
At this appointment……I waited for 40 minutes…….and finally said to the desk, ‘You can reschedule me as I can’t wait here for an hour to see Dr. O. I had to leave……..and rescheduled an appointment for Sept. 11th. Hopefully I will get in on time on this appointment. So, was not particularly Happy about that. I don’t know about everyone else, but I don’t rarely have an hour in the middle of the afternoon. to waste.
The staff and eye doctor were very welcoming and helpful.
Dr. O is the best. Very knowledgeable and caring. However, frames and lenses there are very expensive.
