Had such a great experience with this caterer! Hired them for an anniversary party with a large tapas-style spread, and we got so many compliments on the food! People loved the spice on the meat skewers and the variety of dishes we were able to have. Prairie catering was easy to work with, so accommodating, kind, and helpful, and easily adapted the menu to include those with dietary restrictions. Definitely a recommend from us.
I have used Prairie Catering twice for a corporate lunch (sandwiches, salads, finger foods). The food was high quality (and I am picky) and the staff were on time. The owner is responsive to pre-event emails.
Would not recommend this Caterer to anyone. We were at a family wedding this past weekend - was a Black Tie wedding but definitely not black tie event food. Salads were good but rest of meal was like low end street food. And quite an odd array of dishes. Make your own taco not exactly what I would call black tie meal and quality of food was crap - over cooked fajita beef and veggies, grated cheese and salsa. My husband and I used them for our wedding this June. Right from the start Jimmy was communicative and knowledgeable, he always responded to my emails within 2 business days with answers to my questions and suggestions. We had so much fun at the tasting and they truly treated us like honoured guests. On our wedding day they were punctual and professional, truly the most reliable out of all the vendors we had booked. I would not recommend Prairie Catering. Over a month ago, we agreed on a refund, yet despite multiple follow-ups, they have failed to send the money. The lack of communication and accountability is incredibly frustrating. A business should stand by its commitments, but Prairie Catering has shown a complete disregard for professionalism and customer service.
