PAH has friendly knowledgeable staff. They offer free puppy and kitten first time visit well exams. You may want to bring a note pad to remember all the information they tell you. After your visit the doctors will continue to research questions and concerns you may have had, and they will get back to you. Prairie Animal Hospital is amazing. Can't thank them enough for what they did for our chocolate lab (Buddy). They are very caring and loving towards the animals and the parents.
I took our dog Bailey here for the first time Feb 12, 2026. I was very impressed with all the staff! The receptionists were very friendly and warm. The vet technician was fantastic! He was kind and professional and took a very thorough history of Bailey and quickly scanned into the computer all of her health records and bloodwork results. She had had a dental cleaning and 9 teeth extractions at another vet's office. Update 02/02/26 BEST VETERINARIAN EVER! I moved to the Coeur d'Alene area recently. The veterinarian that I left was absolutely wonderful I had been with them for over 20 years. You couldn't ask for a better veterinarian's office staffed with caring kind doctors and vet techs. I reached out on a post and asked for recommendations and was given three different places with high votes. The first one I went to was fine.
