I will never take another pet to this facility. Communication and systems fail which with incompetent staff accumulate to miscommunication and clinical error. I had my female GSD in to spay. They told me she required a rabies vaccine. I took her to a local clinic 10 days prior to her surgery to separate vaccine stress and the surgical stress. We have been going to Prairie Animal Hospital since we have lived in CDA. We loved Dr. Morris and Dr. Isaacs. They seemed eager to love and care for our SIX pets. Recently they hired a receptionist named Pam and she has treated us as if customer service does not matter. We will call to ask about getting a medication and she will automatically say no, without asking the vet. We took our dog in for a Emergency Ear Infection and got initial treatment. We were told by the vet that he needed to be seen again in 7 days. They would not make an appointment for this at the front desk saying they are booked out. We were told to call at 7:30 am and they would fit him in on the day they vet asked us to bring him back.
