My experience at Dr. Katoch’s office was very positive. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Ms. Sherry was especially efficient and incredibly kind. I waited about 15 minutes to see the doctor. She was very professional, thorough, and polite. I am very pleased with how my appointment went and will be recommending her office to friends and family.
I am consistently disappointed in everything with this physician - not just her but her staff and all interactions with her office. My first couple of visits in 2017 and 2018 were okay, but then went downhill. Dr. Katoch is annoyed by dealing with patients. She just wants to get it over with and is not willing to listen. The wait in her office is an hour from the appointment time, no matter what time the appointment, with the majority of that time being in an exam room. I chose Dr Katoch to be my GP only because she was the only woman doctor in network with my marketplace insurance in my area accepting new patients. She was brusque and rude from the start. Told me to cut back on red meat without doing any labs or even reading my intake paperwork that showed I rarely eat red meat (because of cost) and in general showed that she did not care to get to know me or my needs. Very good doctor she and the staff are very nice. They answered your question when you needed.
Just for info: about a month ago I had a doctor's appointment with the doctor I have used for the last few years at Lanier campus. They gave me some papers to fill out. On one where it said if insurance didn't pay that I would. I wrote a note saying that "if Medicare & Tricare would not pay then don't do it". Everyone in there got upset at me, I just stood there & listened, when they got to loud I ask them what they were arguing with, they looked around and seeing everyone in the waiting room looking one ask me to come back ... read more
