Central Avenue Paint & Hardware Supply, as we were originally known, began in 1983 as a single storefront located at 423 Central Avenue by our founder, PK Mukherjee. Before long, PK's new little store outgrew his storefront and began expanding, adding storefront after storefront in the building until Central Avenue Paint & Hardware Supply occupied nearly the entire first floor.
