Prado Apartments has the worst management company in the world. At 422 McGregor St my apt has had no heat for 2 days. I have called, text and emailed the management company. Their response was a casual,”We’re going to get someone out today!!” Well 2 days later my apartment still has no heat, no attempt has been made to find out why or how to fix it. Don’t ever rent from Prado Homes or a building handled by their new management company. They are the worst!!!
They tack $50 late fees on to see whether or not tenants will actually pay it, and they issue "7 day notice to pay remainder of rent or face eviction" 7 days into the new month, even after a significant payment has already been made. Worst company to rent from.
Terrible company that ruins neighborhoods. They buy properties for bottom dollar and either rent or land contract then to questionable people. We have one of their homes by us and it's been nothing but police calls, assaults, drug use, loud music, racing cars, etc., just an overall menace. Shame on absentee landlords. No more company held housing, stop ruining our neighborhoods and stop buying up our housing stock, further continuing the inaccessibility of home ownership to the average person. Shame on this company!
I sold my home to them. They never switched the utilities to their name-I had to shut them off because it was in my name and I was responsible for it since they also never recorded the deed or switched property taxes. When I contacted Manny about it, he said it’s not his problem him partner purchased my home but manny was the only person I dealt with and who signed the purchase agreement. Two months later and I’m still fighting. Don’t do business with this company, it’s not worth it.
