I’m very happy with the build and the overall experience from Practical Homes. The team was reliable throughout the entire process, and communication was excellent, with consistent weekly updates that kept everything clear and on track. A big shout out to Greg the supervisor, as well as Christian, Lili, and Ann-Maree for their professionalism, support, and attention to detail. I would happily recommend them to others.
Recently built a house and granny with Practical Homes and could not be happier with the whole process. Lily and Rob were so helpful and guided us through the entire build. They always replied promptly and kept us informed, involved and updated all the way through. Would definitely choose them again!
Proceed with caution. I experienced a 195-day approval process for my home, while neighbors on the same street had their approvals finalized in as little as 24 days. The company attributed this to 'council discretion' and refused to review their own internal administrative efficiency when presented with the evidence. When approached with the facts, the company refused to engage and simply shut down the conversation. Great care is needed if you are looking for a builder who prioritizes project efficiency and transparency.
We built an off the plan home with Practical Homes. Being our second home, we were more educated, aware and careful as our first build was unsatisfactory. Practical Homes gave back our confidence in builders and we can't thank them enough for their hard work and unmatched customer service. The overall build was of a high standard.
