I purchased a brand new Yamamha VX Waverunner from J&J in the spring. When I put it in the water and rode it, the handle bars were crooked. I scheduled an appointment and took it to my local Michigan Yamaha Dealer for warranty work. The dealer in Michian fixed it and attempted to charge Yamaha for the warranty work. I called about an atv. The gentleman asked the ages of my riders. I told him both ages of my kids and told him I planned to purchased a smaller one for my youngest. Due to one of my children not being old enough to ride the atv I called about even though I planned to purchase another one that is smaller- he refused me service. UPDATE 8/25/2025-I’ll repeat this again based on your response. FB Marketplace shows when the person who posts an ad in messenger “Reads” the message, which he did. Look at the photo and it shows he read it because it has his icon picture at the bottom. If he is going to post ads on Marketplace and reads them, perhaps he should either respond or learn how to use the platform he’s using to solicit a sale. Hunter Farmer posted an ad for a Kawasaki for sale, which I inquired about. He read the several inquiries I sent, and didn’t bother to respond to any of them. Given their Google reviews of 3.5 stars, I guess this explains a lot about this person and this dealership. I wouldn’t purchase from them even at the lowest of prices. When will people learn that there is more to sales than just an attractive price.
Bought a jet ski there last week. Everyone I spoke to there was really friendly and helpful. I picked the jet ski out Tuesday with a plan for picking it up Friday. Process went perfectly. Everything was ready, they gave me a feature tour, and after signing the papers, took me to the ramp and I was on my way. Based on my research their pricing was pretty good too.
