Dr. Thomas Powers is amazing. I went to several other specialists who misdiagnosed me and would never call me back when I had questions or concerns. I got more out of my 1st visit with Dr. Powers then I did with all the other visits with the previous doctors combined. Whenever I have a question or concern I leave a voicemail (after hours) the next morning he himself calls back. Dr. Powers has always been very thorough and responsive to my issues. His staff has also been sympathetic to me regarding health concerns. I can't believe that anyone would give him or his office a poor rating!

The billing situation here was really bad; it definitely tainted my entire experience. If you must see this doctor, do not let them charge you anything up front as a 'deposit'. Copays are fine, of course, but you will have a hard time getting the right amount of any 'deposit' back regardless of what your insurance company's terms are. If you need medication or a device, I recommend asking to use a specialty pharmacy program so that you deal with a pharmacy billing department and not with the billing here.

This office is a horrible - the stuff is rude and lazy, the dr is rude. they put nude images pages ripped off from magazines on the roof right on top of the examination table....it's like a horror movie!

Dr. Powers is the most thorough doctor I've ever known for taking a history and doing a physical. I worked 30 years in hospitals, clinics and home health. He is very gentle and explains everything even though he knew I'm an RN. Office very clean and organized. Appointment starts on time. His staff is pleasant and supportive.
