Very bad experiences with this doctor. Poor clinical outcome, as well as a literal nightmare to obtain medical records. Even after, literally, ten plus calls to obtain records, I received incomplete handwritten notes. Two opthalmologists who received the notes commented on how they were unprofessional. Even one comment about a laser surgical procedure performed as inappropriate; rare admission from another clinician. These are only highlights of the poor care I received; the wait times were absurd, some rude staff, etcetera.... read more
The Dr is great but many of the staff need training in patient care and professionalism. One staff member was wearing skelton gloves and a skeleton sweater. Very unprofessional. This practice would vastly improve if the staff all wore scrubs - visual perception makes a HUGE impact!
This staff and their Dr.James Powers is the best for Macdenation, and your eyes in general.His staff is pleasant,nice,inforative,and this doctor is personable,he knows what's good for you and your pocketbook. HE HAS other offices but you can count on him and his staff here in newportrichey, and you know someone who needs their eyes looked at with cateracts and mac.then go to him.
This office has a great staff. Very friendly and welcoming Dr Powers is very knowledgeable and I have a lot of confidence in him. I highly recommend this practice.
I was going to Healthy Visions for the past four months and noticed the deterioration of the office. Dr. Power’s was there my first two visits. He became absent for the past two-three months because of health issues. The last time I spoke to someone in the office about a concern I had. I was told that they were short handed because people were quitting and that physician who performed cataract surgery quit after three weeks. To many red flags. I switched to another doctors office.
