Used him in the first case in 2012. He did ok but hired him again on the second case. In 2014, i was told to show up to court to plea the night before, and he assured me I wasn't going to jail . Went to court. Judge remanded me sheriff's office at end of hearing all Mr powers could say well you was gonna do time you want it on front end or back end. He waited until THE DAY of my case to look into my case. Found guilty on all 3 charges. didn’t listen to any of the information I provided, did the absolute bare minimum, but overcharged me. I got completely screwed even though my case was insanely simple, because Mr.powers was insufficient. Do yourself a favor and get a lawyer that’s more competent and attentive.
