My Generac had an "over-cranking" problem. Power Pro technician found a small broken part (linkage rod). He said he didn't have the part, and put back the broken part and said it would work for the time being. He also said I would need a new battery. They sent me $488 (so-called) proposal. I assumed it would cover all parts and repairs, and I agreed on this. Then, Power Pro sent me another bill $323. I realized these were 2 different bills (for the same issue), costing over $800. We are sincerely sorry that you were not happy with the service we provided. However your rendition of the events is not correct. We responded to your request to service your generator because 'it was not working'. We dispatched on of our trained service technicians to investigate the problem. What we found was that your unit had not been service for quite some time and ran an excessive time during the August storm.
