I had a really great experience at Powerhouse Auto Services! I brought my car in thinking it just needed brake pads but Mike quickly found the actual issue-- turns out a previous mechanic had used wire (!) to hold some parts together, which explained why my rotors were in such rough shape. Crazy.. and honestly a reminder of how hard it can be to find a mechanic you can actually trust. Mike did an excellent job with the maintenance on my car. He was very quick and extremely knowledgeable. My car needed multiple services, and he took the time to clearly explain exactly what was going to be done. I really appreciated that he didn’t just tell me—he actually showed me the parts of the car that needed attention and explained why they were a concern. I brought my vehicle here based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was entirely different. The service performed on my car was incomplete and done with poor quality. Since noticing the issue, I have been trying to contact the shop to request a refund, but I cannot get a hold of anyone. I am incredibly disappointed with both the workmanship and the lack of communication.
