Rebuilt the auto trans in my Falcon and it was never right from the start. When trans is up to temp , on take off from standing still....there's no drive untill revs build and then THUMPS....and then drives , sometimes chirping the tires. Powershit looked at it several times, each time claiming they'd fixed it but nothing changed. 🤬 I WOULD NOT recommend this place.
Absolutely hopeless. Don't know how they have a 4 star rating. Asked them to refurbish (seals and bearings) a Toyota K50 gearbox from the early 80's. A very simple gearbox. It didn't work properly from the moment it was installed. I found out later that they had a bad rep. They claimed that the fault I had was a broken circlip that was supposed to hold the reverse gear in place. They looked at my car and said will contact me once quotes for parts are received. I called next day, apparently still waiting on quotes for parts. I I called again couple of days later. I was told there were issues to fix transmission of my car so they would not be quoting me any more :(. A simple no at the start would have saved time for everyone.
