Park was clean. Friendly environment. Swings for small and big kids.
My dad played here in the 1930’s and lived across the street at 4821 Avenue N. It was his playground. My grandfather had a soda fountain and candy store in the ground floor store front. My dad never stopped loving and eating ice cream until he passed in 1992
