It’s difficult to know where to start, however, I will just say that the sales rep broke the entrance to my attic space with a ladder —then never came back. He eventually emailed an estimate for work we didn’t want done that totaled 54k. It was a waste of time and now I have to pay someone to fix my attic entrance.
Scammers, don't ever deal with this company or let them inside your house, they use scare tactics to get people to sign a very expensive contract on the spot and would get aggressive and pushy if you say no.
The workmanship of a Power Home window. They're about 3 years old. Yes, that's ice. Most of our windows are usually soaking wet all winter, but today theyre frozen. I called about this, and they said it's due to humidity. The humidity in our home is currently 35%, which is very low. The actual issue is that the windows are poorly insulated and a few are leaky. The seal between the two panels is weak and the quality of the panes is poor.
Nothing short of a predator. Definitely do not stand behind their work. Waiting for new windows that have crack seals for over a year and a half.. Now there's a class action lawsuit against them...
We got a quote from them for siding and windows and it was EXTREMELY high, over $12,000 more than any other estimate we got. They used pushy tactics to get us to sign immediately without getting other quotes. When we didn't sign their offer right away they called us every day to Badger us with "new savings" that they wanted to come try and sell us in person.
